Club Members County Round Up
Although none of our club reached the County Finals, we had many who nearly did. Jason Walter lost in the semi-final of the Men's County Champion of Champions, as did Jenny Mitton and Andrew Taylor in the Mixed Pairs and Alex, Shaun and Dave B in the Triples.
Eileen Morris made it all the way to her first County Semi-Final in the Unbadged Singles but sadly could not manage the extra step. However, this gave her 3 of the 6 points she needs to gain her County Badge. One of our best known ladies, our lovely Captain Sue Hanlon, however, has managed to gain 6 points and was duly presented with her County Badge after representing Sussex v Kent at Buxted Park on the 17th July. Well done Sue.
Overall as a club, this represents great progress, and we are sure there will be even more club members making us proud in the future.
